Hans Knopp, DO, is an interventional pain specialist with specialized training in osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM), physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), and interventional pain medicine.
Dr. Knopp served as associate chief resident during his PM&R residency program at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. He then went on to complete a chronic pain medicine fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Knopp utilizes an evidence based multimodal approach to improve the quality of life for each of his patients.
He has advanced training in EMG/NCS testing and ultrasound guided musculoskeletal examinations to help personalize treatment plans. When warranted, he also performs interventions that include epidural steroid injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency lesioning, spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve blocks, and ultrasound guided injections to help alleviate pain, improve functionality, and prevent surgery when possible
